The terms you are agreeing to today
These are the operating terms of the service as it runs now. The full contract — entity, governing law, liability and the consumer-law position — is with counsel. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.
The service
Mobile Inventory is a stock ledger for small shops: items, locations, stock movements, counts, purchase orders, reports and a team with roles. The web app and the Android app share one account and one shop.
The trial
A new shop runs a 14-day trial with the product's features available. No card is taken for the trial. When the trial ends, the shop becomes read-only until a plan is chosen; your data stays and can still be exported.
Price and billing
The price and what each plan includes are published at /pricing/. Store billing (Google Play, App Store) is not open yet; while it is closed, no one is charged and the trial is the only state. When billing opens, the price shown at that moment applies, renews through the store unless cancelled there, and can be cancelled at any time with access until the end of the paid period.
Your data is yours
The items, history and shop data you put in belong to you. You can export them at any time and delete them at any time. We claim no licence to use your inventory data except to run the service for you. The privacy notice explains what is collected and who processes it.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your password and API tokens private, and remove people who should no longer have access.
- Use the service lawfully, and do not attempt to reach another shop's data or disrupt the service.
- Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. This is a working tool, not an archive.
Availability and backups
The service runs on a free-tier preview with a daily backup and a recovery point of up to 24 hours, and no uptime commitment. The status page says what is true today. Planned maintenance and incidents are reported there.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account or the shop. We can suspend an account that is used to attack the service or other shops, or that is not paid when billing is live, after telling you why.
What is still being written
The registered entity, governing law, liability cap and the consumer-law position are being finalised with counsel. When the full contract is published it will replace these operating terms, and existing accounts will be told before it takes effect.
